So, this is me procrastination until I can get some more information about this project I am working on. I have kinda reached a stand still and Hilary is in meetings for a while. Since I have not updated in a while I figure I should. So here is a quick recap of everything for the past few weeks.
Drama Llama
This is the Drama Llama. He lives in the office and terrorizes Scott the Intern on pretty much a daily basis. I finally got everything pretty much settled into the office. We are going to be moving again in the fall to a new office so I am waiting to bring all my office goodie. As long as we have candy, colored pens, and at least one toy we're good.
Personally, I consider anything in the triple digits to be a good game.
This is from my recent trip to Greensboro. Notice our abysmal bowling scores. This was our worse game all around. I came in at 109. I also got to hang out with several friends from undergrad and eat some delicious food at an alumni picnic. There were some seriously awkward moments when exec with babies (none of mine) showed up and people no one is particularly fond of. I'm not sure what it is about these types of events that draw people like that out of the woodwork but I am always amused by the way that the promise of free food lures people who were never really around much out to events that they have to go out of their way to attend. I just don't get it.
Recently I have been trying to convince Hal and Kim to create parallel blogs called "Things Hal hates" and "Things Kim loves". Post would include such things as...
Hal: "I hate my new work blackberry. I can't even figure out how to work the stupid thing and I can't even do anything fun on it"
Kim: "I love sour alligators."
Hal: "I hate So You Think You Can Dance. I just don't get it. It's so stupid."
Kim: "I love Dunkin!"
As you can clearly tell I find the dichotomy between Hal's loathing for everything and Kim's equal love for everything highly amusing.
In other news, I did go home this weekend for Father's Day. On Sunday morning we woke up to a dead copperhead on the walkway. No one knows how it was killed but it was dead when we found it.
He's had better days.
And I also got to see our new kittens which are very adorable but are still a little reluctant to be held.
And I finally took some pictures of Draco, our degu, which is sort of like a chinchilla. He was a little camera shy and, truth be told, is not yet a lap degu.
Draco is still unsure of being held.
And then of course Kyle and I caused all sorts of chaos at the grocery store because we see everything as an opportunity to play.
